I am trying to make a LOD hero healer for my nuke/MM build. Currently I have the following monk build.

Generally sucking with PC monks myself I am hesitant to think that I have a good build here. So I am asking for help. I really need LOD for this build but I'm ready to give p just about anything else. Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide.

FAR too much healing on that bar.
And Healing Touch is redundant now due to the fact you have skills which also heal you.

It also lacks hex removal.

But here goes...

LoD is a pretty weak party heal, the recharge killed it as a useful PvE skill. Healing Touch is good for getting the Monk killed by running into melee range, Signet of Devotion doesn't work unless the Monk has no energy and Heal Other will kill energy.

If you need a strong party healer, try a N/Rt. Here's one that doesn't need a minion energy machine.

Spirit Transfer / Weapon of Warding
Protective Was Kaolai
Life
Signet of Lost Souls / Foul Feast

Given you've got an MM, replace the Elite with Weapon of Remedy or Icy Veins.

If you want to stick with a Monk, better to go with a Word of Healing hybrid -

I shouldn't say I have an mm. What I have is a mm/bomber hybrid duo which is very effective at mass AoE damage combined with my PC nuker.

I didn't realize that LoD had been nerfed so bad! I get what you are saying there. When you do the math it's pretty dang weak.

So then what is the best group healing I can get that can still provide the most effective single target healing when need be?

Have a look at the Restoration skills on the N/Rt. Mix and match to suit your playstyle. Some skill combinations will impact energy management more than others, but with an MM in the party it shouldn't matter. In low corpse areas, take Reaper's Mark.

You've got two party heals (PwK, Life also heals minions), spike heals (Spirit Light / Spirit Transfer combined will heal over 350HP), 50% block with regen (Weapon of Warding), cheap healing (Soothing Memories), cheap condition removal (Foul Feast), or condition removal with heals (Weapon of Remedy / Mend Body & Soul).

You can also slot in some AoE damage (Icy Veins) which combines well with Death Nova / Putrid Bile / Rising Bile on the MM. The only thing a N/Rt doesn't have is Hex Removal.

Even in area's with no corpses, I find the N/rt healer to still be quite effective even with the traditional weapon of remedy instead of reaper's mark. Also, consider using resilient weapon instead of warding. Both excellent spells, but I find that for most pve usage the longer duration and added armor come out on top.
When you have a MM in the party, you can even off signet of lost souls and add another spirit instead, such as recovery, recuperation, or rejuvenation.

You want a Rune of Minor Soul Reaping on the head and either Herald's Insignia or Survivors. I like the extra armor of Herald's (94 with PwK), much cheaper too.
A few Attunement runes and a Vigor rune fill up the rest of the armour.

Weapon doesn't matter as it'll be carrying PwK's ashes the whole time.

I haven't seen a Hero use Resilient Weapon. WoW gets spammed - it's so-so because it can knock another weapon spell off (make sure you take Splinter Weapon and Ancestor's Rage, possibly on the MM) and it may be cast on minions. The safe option is Spirit Transfer or Soothing Memories if taking Icy Veins.

I don't think ancestor's rage and splinter weapon will really be worth it with I've got. Maybe on my PC.

The Icy Veins thing is working out really well for me. I've been using spirit transfer with it and it is very effective.

It's funny though, my rit has minions and my necro has spirits... (Well one spirit anyway.)

Yeah Livia's my Resto bitch too. Maybe it's the zones i've run it in, or the team didn't come under enough pressure for it to trigger.
